I am Lívia Talmeli Zapaterra, born in Marília, Brazil. Student, dancer, explorer, creator, and future scientist and engineer are some of the words that best describe who I am.
At the age of 11, I became the first girl to join our school's FIRST® Robotics team. We worked with bionic prosthetics for animals and developed research on prevention against tick-borne diseases. Soon after, I was leading Olympiad teams and developing apps to address social matters. All of that allowed me to find my passion for STEM and being an agent of change.
Currently, I aspire to influence the young future scientists and engineers in my country by contributing to the world with technological advancements through creative solutions.
